Eric Hollander’s passion for East Asian culture began as a teen, studying various martial arts, and making trips into New York City’s China town.
After completing his undergrad, Eric spent some time traveling and working in California, Japan and Taiwan. While working in Japan, Eric began experiencing serious stress headaches. A Japanese doctor offered to give him acupuncture in his office. The series of gentle treatments really impressed him, and his headaches lessened and stopped recurring.
Feeling he had found his direction, upon returning to the United States, Eric entered acupuncture school. He graduated in 1997 from Pacific College of San Diego with highest honors. At Pacific College Eric studied under some of the top experts of Chinese medicine in the U.S. and from China, and since then, he has worked alongside medical doctors, Chiropractors, Naturopaths, and Physical Therapists.
In 2004 he joined a practice focusing on fertility acupuncture in San Diego called Zen Fertility Center. There Eric discovered he had a passion for helping women achieve healthy pregnancies. In 2014 Eric branched out into his own private practice called Fertility Points Acupuncture, a practice with an emphasis on fertility, pregnancy and women’s health.
Eric has always had a passion for continued learning. He has studied with Chinese gynecology experts such as Bob Flaws, Giovanni Maciocia, Xiao Ting Jing, Miki Shima, and Sharon Weizenbaum, and continues to augment, and refine his knowledge.
Eric specializes in using Chinese Herbal medicine to acupuncture to treat Fertility, Gynecological Conditions, and Chronic Illnesses. He is also committed to helping people live longer, healthier lives with acupuncture and Chinese medicine, long after they finish having children. All members of the family are welcome.
In 2023 Eric completed the certificate program for Facial Applications for Cosmetic Enhancement from Pacific College of Health and Science.
